On April 19th, the Beijing stop of the 2025 "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" initiative was launched grandly at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center. The two-day event brought together recruiters from 21 prefecture-level cities across Guangdong Province, along with several provincial-level institutions and enterprises. A total of 1,650 employers are participating in thejob fair, offering an impressive 60,000 job openings. Of these, 793 employers are recruiting on-site, collectively offering 42,000 positions.
The "Millions of Talents" initiative closely aligns with Guangdong's modern industrial development goals. More than 70% of available positions are embedded within key strategic sectors such as intelligent connected vehicles and new energy vehicles (NEVs), biomedicine, artificial intelligence (AI), and the low-altitude economy. These roles are designed to attract top talent and build a robust workforce for the province's modern industrial system.
Dong Hanyu, a recruitment manager at XPENG Motors, noted that the company plans to fill over 6,000 positions this year, covering the entire R&D and manufacturing process of smart vehicles. During the event, more than 300 candidates submitted their resumes to XPENG. Meanwhile, Chen Jiehui, Deputy Party Secretary of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL), said nearly 500 resumes had been submitted to their company by 2:00PM alone. "We've already extended about ten offers right here on the spot," he said, adding that departmental decision-makers were present to fast-track outstanding candidates.
The job fair attracted tens of thousands of participants, including university students and experienced professionals. One of the first candidates to submit a resume was Zheng Wenjuan, a PhD student in cell biology at the School of Life Sciences, Peking University. "I was surprised to hear from the organizers that I was the first one to hand in a resume," she said. Zheng hopes to find a job that matches her expertise and is also considering postdoctoral opportunities in Guangdong, drawn by the province's attractive talent policies.
The first official employment agreement of the day was signed between Chen Yiyu, a master's student majoring in applied linguistics at Tsinghua University and Guangzhou Public Transport Group. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Guangzhou and Foshan, Chen expressed a strong desire to return to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). "Guangdong has always been a key development hub in China," he said. "For young people today, this is a rare and valuable opportunity. I want to seize it and contribute to building my hometown in this new era."
Another early signee was Zeng Yufei, a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, originally from Yunfu, Guangdong. He signed an employment agreement with the Guangzhou Trading Group. "There are so many opportunities and resources in Guangdong, especially platforms aligned with my academic background," he said. Zeng also shared his fondness for Guangdong's traditional morning tea culture. He added, "Compared with many other places, Guangdong has a strong sense of everyday life. It feels truly fortunate to be able to return and live there."

万岗齐发赴京引才，广东发“薪”动福利
4月19日，“百万英才汇南粤”2025年N城联动春季招聘活动（北京站）在北京中关村国际创新中心盛大开场。广东省21个地级以上市及部分省直企事业单位参加为期两天的北京站招聘活动，用人单位共有1650家，提供岗位总计6万个。参加现场招聘的单位共793家，提供岗位4.2万个。
此次招聘活动精准锚定广东现代化产业体系发展需求，超70%岗位深度嵌入智能网联与新能源汽车、生物医药、人工智能、低空经济等战略性支柱产业链，通过相关岗位精准引才，为现代化产业发展提供牢固的人才支撑。
小鹏汽车集团招聘负责人董涵瑜表示，小鹏汽车今年全年的招聘岗位数超6000个，岗位类型涵盖智能汽车的研发制造全流程。现场，超过300位应聘者将简历投给了小鹏汽车；广州医药集团有限公司党委副书记陈杰辉介绍，截至当天14时，投递简历的人数就接近500人。相关部门的负责人就在现场，遇到优秀的应聘者现场就可以“拍板”录用，接受采访时“已经给出了约十个offer”。
此次招聘活动吸引了上万名高校学生及社会人才报名参加，在北京大学生命科学学院攻读细胞生物学博士的郑文娟是当天第一个投递简历的应聘者。“接到主办方的电话，说我居然是全场第一位投递简历的，觉得很惊喜。”此次参加招聘，郑文娟希望找到与自己专业契合的工作。被广东相关政策吸引的她，也考虑到广东攻读博士后。
当天第一个签约的应聘者是清华大学应用语言学硕士研究生陈奕宇，与广州公交集团现场完成就业意向签约。陈奕宇出生于香港，在广州和佛山长大。“我认为广东一直是我国一个重要的发展窗口，对于当下年轻人来说，这是难能可贵的机会。我想要回到粤港澳大湾区，也是因为想要把握机遇、建设家乡，参与到新时代的建设当中。”
来自广东云浮的曾宇飞是清华大学环境科学与工程博士。现场，他与广州交易集团完成就业意向签约。“广东有很多机会和资源，有很多适合我所学专业的平台。”曾宇飞说，他很想念广东的早茶，“相比很多其他地方而言，广东有非常浓厚的生活气息，能够回广东生活是一件很幸福的事情。”
